Michael Joseph Jackson

Just a little something.

On March 25, 1983, he performed live on the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special, both with The Jackson 5 and on his own singing "Billie-Jean". Debuting his signature dance move—the moonwalk—his performances during the event were seen by 47 million viewers during its initial airing, and drew comparisons to Elvis Presley's and the The Beatles' appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. The New York Times said, "The moonwalk that he made famous is an apt metaphor for his dance style. How does he do it? As a technician, he is a great illusionist, a genuine mime. His ability to keep one leg straight as he glides while the other bends and seems to walk requires perfect timing".

Michael was so cute when he was just a wee lad.

Equinox or Solstice?

Equinox,
noun e.qui.nox
1. Either of two points on the celestial sphere at which the ecliptic intersects the celestial equator.
2. Either of the two times during a year when the sun crosses the celestial equator and when the length of day and night are approximately equal; the vernal equinox or the autumnal equinox.

Solstice
noun sol.stice
1. Either of two times of the year when the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator. The summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere occurs about June 21, when the sun is in the zenith at the tropic of Cancer; the winter solstice occurs about December 21, when the sun is over the tropic of Capricorn. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and the winter solstice is the shortest.
2. A highest point or culmination.

Which one would you rather enjoy?
I do want to celebrate these dates, one is coming up!

Polony, Cromby and such...

There was a young gentleman probably aged around seventeen. He walked on into the service station where he had bought a Nickleback CD and a small roll of polony. The young man then walked off into the dark, dark night..........
and was never to be seen AGAIN!

hahaha polony pony.

This was a story my friend Cromby told me today, it made me laugh. He was so excited about the story, this is why I shall forever be his friend!

HIT LIST! die, die, die

OK, so I must say if I had a "hit list" (which i may or may not already have) I would definitely put that fat, heinous, grease ball Matt Preston on it for sure, probably up the top somewhere.
He is THE WORST food critic I've seen, even though I don't bother watching television that often as I think it's ridiculous these days. Anyhow, who's to say that food isn't "fine"? You need food to live, don't complain about a splatter of sauce on your plate that has apparently ruined a perfectly fine meal. He is a complete fat moron who has to wear scarves to cover up that awful triple chin of his.
Have you ever heard a poor Ethiopian make a critical comment on food or how the way it has been cooked?
Matt Preston just shut up and die!
JERK

Some men truly do resemble swines. Gross.

Mary, where art thou?

Time certainly doesn't fly, whilst waiting to get high

Today i bought a house plant,
it hasn't started growing much which sucks.
I don't think i can watch it to much, it's not so entertaining anymore.

I can't sleep and want a blueberry bagel!

So it's early hours of the morning and lately I can't sleep because of this. Something unusual is happening to me and I'm not quite sure why.
I've been waking up crazy early hours of the morning embracing the fresh, new, crisp day. It's becoming one more addiction, except this one is legal and is creating more happiness for me. I watch the day awake, looking at the big city buildings through the kitchen window. It's a pleasant view.
I'm currently listening to lonesome town by Ricky Nelson on record, it's so easy on the ears and soft sounding. Ricky Nelson performed the song "lonesome town" in the cult class movie, Pulp Fiction. One of my favourite songs and movie.

Anyhow, yesterday I had the greatest day I've had in a long time. I woke up early to begin my sunday journey which i had been planning for ages but, have never been too bothered to start it until then. Danielle and I walked to meet my friend James at Lawleys cafe and bakery in Mt Lawley. It was pretty early, well early for anyway. I'd say it was around 9am. We got ourselves a coffee and some delicious breakfast.
Lawley's makes the best food ever!
After we had finished we walked back to my place and prepared ourselves for our journey. We left the house and walked to the train station. We commenced travelling on our journey and finally made it to FREMANTLE!
Fremantle is always fun. We went to the pub to get a drink and then went shopping in the markets. You always find great things in freo. We purchased two hats, two awesome tie-dye shirts and the cutest of all, dinosaur cookie cutters.
The only bad thing was that when i got home i realised i had left the bag of cookie cutters at Little Creatures.
Oh well, I am sometimes forgetful when drinking.

We then ventured back on the train home and listened to old records and tapes.
It was amazing.
If it wasn't for music, i would be lost.
